Union signed academy product and loan to join NCFC for one year

CHESTER, Pa. – Philadelphia Union today announced they have signed Union II and Philadelphia Union Academy product Selmir Miscic, and he has been sent on a one-year loan to North Carolina FC.

A native of Burlington, VT, Miscic played for the Union Academy where he featured for the U13, U14, U15, U16-17, and U18-19’s scoring nine goals in 15 matches. Miscic currently attends YSC Academy, where he will graduate from this upcoming June.

Most recently, Miscic played two seasons for Union II in the USL Championship after he signed with the then-named Bethlehem Steel in 2018. During his time with the team, he scored two goals in 16 games for the USL side.

TRANSACTION: Philadelphia Union loan Selmir Miscic to North Carolina FC on a one-year loan.
