GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Chicago White Sox agreed to terms with infielder Jake Lamb on a major-league deal and designated left-handed pitcher Nik Turley for assignment.

Lamb, 30, is a .239/.329/.435 (483-2,017) hitter with 101 doubles, 21 triples, 84 home runs, 312 RBI and 290 runs scored in 609 career games over seven major-league seasons with Arizona (2014-20) and Oakland (2020). The left-handed hitting Lamb was a National League All-Star in 2017.

Turley, 31, made just one Cactus League appearance with the White Sox after being claimed off waivers from Oakland on March 21.

With the moves, the White Sox have 35 players remaining in camp: 15 pitchers, three catchers, 11 infielders and six outfielders.
