  • Columbus went 2-1-1 in the four-game series vs. Carolina with tonight’s overtime loss and is 3-3-1 this season against the Canes.
  • CBJ won two-of-three overtime games in the 4-game Carolina series.
  • Eight of the last 10 contests between Columbus and Carolina have been decided by a single goal.
  • CBJ moved to 12-7-2 in the last 21 meetings in the series vs Carolina since Jan. 17, 2017 and have collected points in eight of the last eleven games in the series (7-3-1).

·        D Seth Jones recorded his fourth multi-point game of the season while collecting his fourth career three-assist game (MR: Nov. 10, 2018 vs. NYR).  He is now tied for the team lead in assists with 16 (4-16-20).  He has points in five-of-seven games vs Carolina this season (3-6-9) and has seven points in the last five games overall (3-4-7).

·        RW Cam Atkinson tallied his fifth multi-point game of the campaign with a goal and an assist.  He is tied for most goals on the club this season (12-11-23 in 34 GP).  He has 8-6-14 in 19 home games this season.

·        D Zach Werenski scored and has three goals in the last four home games (3-1-4).  He is tied for most goals by a CBJ defensemen this season (4-10-14, 27 GP).

·        RW Oliver Bjorkstrand scored his 12th goal of the season.  He leads the club in goals (tied), assists and points with 12-16-28 in 34 games.

·        C Kevin Stenlund recorded an assist and has three points in the last four games (1-2-3, overall 5-5-10).

·        RW Patrik Laine registered his eighth assist of the campaign (9-8-17).  He has notched 15 points in 15 career games against the Hurricanes (8-7-15).
