Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball News: Tipoff time, TV information announced for Loyola’s NCAA game against Georgia Tech

CHICAGO (March 14, 2021) – Loyola University Chicago’s (24-4, 16-2 MVC) NCAA Tournament First Round game against Georgia Tech (17-8, 11-6 ACC) will tip off Friday, March 19 at 4 p.m. ET at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson will call the action live on TBS.
 
Loyola is no stranger to Hinkle Fieldhouse, having played there on 38 occasions against Butler, which calls the venue home. The last time the Ramblers played at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse was February 14, 2012 against Butler in Porter Moser‘s first season as head coach at Loyola.
 
The winner of Friday’s game between the eighth-seeded Ramblers and No. 9 seed Yellow Jackets will take on either top-seeded Illinois, or Drexel, the No. 16 seed, on Sunday, March 21.
