NHL fines Wild’s Greg Pateryn for Cross-Checking

NEW YORK (Jan. 19, 2021) – Minnesota Wild defenseman Greg Pateryn has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Anaheim Ducks forward Sonny Milano during NHL Game No. 45 in Anaheim on Monday, Jan. 18, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 14:19 of the first period.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
