NHL fines Flyers’ Aube-Kubel for Roughing

NEW YORK (Jan. 19, 2021) – Philadelphia Flyers forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been fined $4,633.62, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin during NHL Game No. 37 in Philadelphia on Monday, Jan. 18, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 17:58 of the third period. Aube-Kubel was assessed a double-minor penalty for high-sticking.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
