Blue Jackets opened their 20th season with a 3-1 loss at division foe Nashville.

The two teams will play again Saturday afternoon in Nashville. Game time is 8 pm.

Roster Report 

The Blue Jackets scratched forward Kevin Stenlund and defensemen Gabriel Carlsson and Scott Harrington, while Mikko Koivu was unable to play because of COVID-19 protocols. Grigorenko, center Max Domi and defenseman Del Zotto also made their CBJ debuts.
