Next Friday night, Wright State will host Youngstown State Penguins on ESPN2 January 8

INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball game against Youngstown State on Friday, January 8 has been selected to be televised on ESPN2, the Horizon League and ESPN announced on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The game remains a 7 p.m. tipoff from inside the Nutter Center.
 
Entering this weekend’s action, Wright State is 6-1 overall and 4-0 in Horizon League play, making the trip to take on Oakland on a six-game winning streak. Youngstown State is 4-3 overall (1-3 HL) entering its weekend series against Green Bay.
 
Wright State appeared on national television four times during the regular season last year – twice at home and twice on the road – winning all four contests. In 2019-20, the Raiders hosted Northern Kentucky on ESPNU and UIC on ESPN2, while also playing in front of the national audience on the road against Oakland (ESPNU) and in the rematch against Northern Kentucky (ESPNU).
