THURSDAY NIGHT PREVIEW

Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season gets underway on Thursday, December 17 (8:20 PM ET, FOX/NFL Network/Amazon), as the Los Angeles Chargers make their first visit to Allegiant Stadium to face the Las Vegas Raiders in a late-season AFC West matchup. This will mark the 122nd regular-season meeting in the rivalry, with the Raiders holding a 65-54-2 advantage and winning the past three meetings. In Week 9 of this season, Las Vegas erased a halftime deficit to defeat the Chargers, 31-26. The Raiders combined for 160 rushing yards and quarterback DEREK CARR passed for two touchdowns with zero interceptions in the victory.

Carr enters Week 15 having recorded at least 315 passing yards, two touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown in each of his past two games. He aims for his fifth-consecutive game against the Chargers without an interception. In his past three starts on Thursday Night Football, Carr has four touchdown passes with zero interceptions for a 100.1 rating. Last week, running back JOSH JACOBS recorded 74 scrimmage yards (49 rushing, 25 receiving). In Week 9, Jacobs rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers. The second-year back has recorded at least 100 scrimmage yards in three of four career games in primetime. Tight end DARREN WALLER had seven catches for 75 yards last week and in Week 13, became the fourth tight end in NFL history to record at least 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a single game. He ranks second among tight ends in 2020 with 84 catches and 817 receiving yards. Defensive end MAXX CROSBY had a sack in Week 9 and has recorded a sack in four of his five past games against the division.
